Summer is Here!

Welcome! Pleased to see you for Summer School!

Plan Your Time: Courses are self-paced with a suggested timeline — print it out to stay on track.

• Minimum enrollment: 30 days
• Courses expire: 1 year after enrollment

Know Your Deadlines:

• School deadline? Follow your school's dates — they override ours.
• Submit assignments at least 14 days before you need to complete the course.
• Grading takes up to 7 school days in summer.
• Your transcript can't be generated until all assignments are graded.

Requesting Your Transcript:

Request anytime via the Transcript form. Delivered electronically through Parchment in 24–72 hours ($7.50). Your transcript includes all courses—completed and in progress. 

  Before requesting:

1. Generate a Student Course Report from your dashboard — it will be emailed to you.
2. Confirm your name and date of birth are correct.
3. Review your courses. To drop an incomplete course, use the Ask a Question link on your dashboard.
4. Your Final Exam date determines which semester the course appears on.

SVHS Semester Dates

• Fall — Sep 1 to Jan 14
• Spring — Jan 15 to May 31
• Summer — Jun 1 to Aug 31

Need a "Summer" Transcript? Summer semester ends Aug 31. To have your course reflect Summer:

1. Submit all assignments before Aug 15
2. Take your Final Exam by Aug 31

You can submit after Aug 15, but grading is not guaranteed by Aug 31. Courses completed after Aug 31 post as Fall.

About the Assignments

• All assignments are required.
• Incomplete assignments will be returned to you for you to complete.
• Do your assignments as you finish the unit and before taking the unit test.
• Sharing an image, audio, or video on a shared drive - set permissions to 'anyone with a link.'
• Uploading a video - use YouTube, make it 'unlisted,' and share the YouTube URL with your teacher.
• Cite your sources.
